The History of New Covenant Church
This is where it all started…
The ministry of Tony and Sonya Visor began in 1991 when they joined Gregg Chapel C.M.E. Church under the leadership of Reverend Ralph Williams. Tony received his called to preach in this same year and was later licensed as a local Minister in the C.M.E. Church. Tony served as an Assistant to the Pastor and he was also the Sunday School Superintendant. Sonya served as a Sunday school teacher to the youth. This is where Sonya’s writing ministry was birthed and she wrote and directed plays for the youth department. The couple served for eight years, until Tony in December 1998, was lead by God to start a church.

New Covenant Ministries held its first service at the Racine Marriott Hotel in March of 1999 with three members. NCM remained at this location for a year.
Until…
The big move to the Dekoven Foundation Center is when the name changed to New Covenant Church. The ministry was at this location for a little over six years as God had the purpose to make NCC into what the ministry has become, a training facility.
We relocated and are currently holding services at the Racine YMCA– 725 Lake Avenue.
Increase is HERE…God is adding to our number – advancing the Kingdom of God.
The best is yet to come!
